  • 🍾 We celebrated 15 years of being married. My how does time fly and wow is life very different than it was when we got married. Physically we're just down the road from the 1K I was renting. To celebrate I made some carbonara and we split a sparkling cider from our champaign glasses. Boyo also took park in the festivities, drinking ginger ale from a fancy glass.
  • 🕹️ Speaking of, Leo used all of his new year's cash and bought Super Mario Galaxy 1 + 2. We already have Galaxy 1 via the bundle cartridge that has 64, Sunshine, and Galaxy. However, they don't sell a cartridge with just Galaxy 2 on it. In the former bundle, there is a single game in the Switch menu then you select which game you'd like to play from in the game. For Galaxy 1 + 2 it actually shows up as 2 different games in the Switch menu. So far it looks like it is a real improvement on the original. 
  • 📕 While researching how to maybe use a Kindle to help reluctant readers, I discovered the Assistive Reader functionality. With this your kindle reads the book to you while underlining where it is in the line. Although I was researching it for Leo, I've found myself using it a lot this week. It is enabling me to read while I cook or similar. The only downside is it only seems to work with books purchased from Amazon, not side-loaded epubs.
  • 🎥 I subscribed to a new YouTube channel (thanks to a post from Probably Riding) called Bikes, Books, & Buildings. Instead of riding around Seoul he's riding around Oslo.  I'm really enjoying the different views.
