New running shoes came in today for my early birthday present. Also my first low-carbon footprint shoe at 9kg, about 3.5kg less than average and is offset by Allbirds themselves.

🏃First 10k in a couple of years. Went to and back from my old stomping grounds in Shonandai. Always so nice and quiet out at 4:30am. It’s also prime socializing time for the old ladies in the area, with a gaggle at each bridge along the river.

Nice 5km before work. Found a huge chicken coup down by the river. Too many shrubs to get a good photo. The building is the Izumi ward city hall.

Nice 5k after work. No phone this time so no photos of the Yokohama burbs.

Fun hour long run this morning while it was 22c out. Brought my phone so I could take some photos. 🏃
