• Turkish Getups are haaard. I think I’ll need some consistent practice of just the movement before I’ll be able to do one properly. Let alone with weight. Really have to focus.
  • New feature idea: is James’ house shaking alert that alerts of earthquakes in Yokohama.
  • M2 Macbook Air arrived this morning. Wow it's really nice. The JIS keyboard is going to take some getting used to again, but I've used them in the past.
  • I added a graph of the last 10 weigh-ins in Tanzawa health.
  • With summer starting in the northern hemisphere, this is a good reminder about how to apply sunscreen. This idea to think about sunscreen as a second line of defense, not your entire defense is a good one. On those regards, I've been buying more UPF clothing (and can't live without my UPF jacket) and it gives me much more piece of mind when I'm out in the sun.
  • First PR to Tanzawa in 3 months merged. I upgraded to Django 4.2. Had to include a small hack due to incompatibilities between Spatalite and sqlite3☹️. But at least now it unblocks further development πŸŽ‰
  • The Super Mario movie did not disappoint. Leo was smiling and thumbs upping the entire way through.
  • I made a simple penne pasta. Leo ate the veggies in the sauce and said β€œvegetables are delicious”! Never thought I’d hear those words from his mouth. <success_kid.gif>

  • Sometimes I think I should run Linux and WindowMaker or some such on my aging Macbook. Get rid of the cloud stuff that "simplifies" things but really just adds more complexity. But also, if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
