• Afternoon Run
Made a balloon to celebrate Derek Wessman β€˜s recent birthday. Also it’s my usual course. Happy birthday, bother!

  • It's threatening to rain and sometimes raining...so I skipped running today and fixed some outstanding bugs with Tanzawa instead. RSS feeds no longer have that weird spacing at the top and checkin photos are no longer blurry. Much relieved.
  • Morning Run
Still humid enough to count as swimming, but at least the clouds are keeping the sun at bay.

  • Too hot run πŸ₯΅
Departing just after 6am is too late. Having a mental map of the vending machines that accept contactless payments is a life saver.

  • Get outta a funk run
So deep in Yokohama I saw a *&ump sticker. Ran with The Streets β€” Who got the funk?Β

  • Introducing the boy to the Smashing Pumpkins and Crash Test Dummies. The 90's are alive and well.
  • Two things I’d like to make in Tanzawa:

    • Books - so I can track the books I read and collect blog posts / notes about them as I read
    • While Trix is a good WYSIWYG editor, Β Markdown is also very nice. Being able to write a post in either or would be handy.Β
  • First chance to use my UV umbrella β€” amazing. So much cooler under it. Definitely recommend. Still feel like a bit of a tool using it, but the sun is gender-blind, it tries to kill us all equally.
  • I've made a few more tweaks and deployed my Strava run details to my site. Still a couple things remaining before I merge it into Tanzawa...but good enough for me to test it in prod. See my Sherlock homes run.
